
Deborah-Anne Hennessey
Deborah-Anne is very familiar with St. Thomas and its environs, having been born and raised in St. Thomas. She joined her father Murray Hennessey in the practice of law in St. Thomas in 1985 after graduating from Law School at Queen’s University. Deborah-Anne’s practice has focused on family law (divorce, separation agreements, pre-nuptial agreements, adoptions) along with wills, powers of attorney and estate administration.
While Deborah-Anne frequently appears on behalf of her clients in the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice in St. Thomas, Ontario, she is also keenly interested in resolving disputes through mediation and offers her services as a family law mediator to those parties who wish to try to resolve their issues outside a courtroom.
Deborah-Anne is the Past President of the Elgin Law Association and the Past President of Family & Children’s Services of St. Thomas and Elgin. She has served on the Board of Directors of the St. Thomas Skating Association and is currently a member of the Board of Governors of the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital.
